The Homestead is our current innerworld, it is a commune set in a prarie with a lovely garden at the center and a woods to the north-west. There are a series of homes around the garden for the most frequent fronters, and a second set of homes sprawling north and into the woods for other alters. Homes are shared with groups of alters living together to support each other, most alters have thier own rooms. There are many communal spaces for alters to connect.

Innerworlds are a cognitive construction most often utilized as a visulization tool. The innerworld is a place where alters reside and can have individual lives. Many alters have rich innerworld lives and complex interpersonal relationships with other alters or even NPCs a term for non-alter "people" who exist only in headspace.
